DESIGN YOUR OWN AMAZING ART PROJECT
An opportunity to create a project based on your interests and skills you'd like to learn.
There are so many creative and inspiring guides and tutorials available on the web that you can use to direct and inform your own learning.
GOAL: Be able to identify what it is you want to learn/accomplish, and then create a plan to execute. Recognize that this "R&D" (Research and Development) is the industry standard for developing new ideas, products, services, and is an essential skill to have! Objectives: Create a specific obtainable plan of what you want to photograph and then using online resources map out all the necessary steps and processes you will need to complete in order to be successful. Complete your planning guide as you progress, ,and document all your research either on a pinterest board, an evernote page, or Microsoft word. |
DEADLINES
M 5/18: Project idea research due - class time to research an artist, tutorials, and techniques W 5/20: Practice techniques/processes, finalize all research. F 5/22: Images for planned project due - 20 image contact sheet. Begin final project in class W 5/27: Final project work day F 5/29: Final project work day - Using a "table" midpoint critique, Complete the refinement part of your project packet. T 6/2: Last work day - implement any refinement ideas. All work must be uploaded/printed/displayed appropriately by the end of class. (This means if you have special "display/mounting" work to do you will need to print by the beginning of class to have time to complete this. R 6/4: Independent project presentations M 6/8: Exam Review, Room clean-out W 6/10: 2B EXAM |
